Environmental Health Students of Akwa Ibom State College of Health Technology ,Etinan, on
Monday visited the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly asking for the refund of their examination fees which they paid.
The former Head of Department of the Environmental Health of the College,Mr Mfon Etuk, was accused of embezzling over N1million examination fees before his recent redeployment to the Ministry of Health.
The protesting students carried placards with words describing their thoughts of the Former HOD actions "Mfon is more dangerous than Ebola", "Selfish administrator"; "Mfon Etuk return our money": "heartless father" and "entrusted fellow".
Akwa Ibom broadcasting corperation also spoke with the protesting students as the students added that they have invited the Nigerian Police to arrest the former HOD for alleged theft, a sources has disclosed that the state Ministry of Health is making all preparations in refunding the examinations fees back to the student before the commencement of their exams next week.
