Delta State Government Signs Law making Judiciary Financially Independent

Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has signed into law the bill seeking to make the judiciary in the state financially autonomous.

The governor signed the bill at a brief ceremony on Wednesday at the Government House, Asaba where he  also signed the Delta State Model Primary Schools Law 2014.

The bills approving the laws had earlier on been passed by Delta State House of Assembly.  The judiciary law is known as Delta State Judiciary (Financial Autonomy) Law 2014.
