Frank Lampard has finally spoken out since his move away from Stamford Bridge early this season where he enjoyed a very successful career after joining the blues in 2001 from Westham United,
during his stellar career at Chelsea he became the clubs highest and record goal scorer with 211 goals though he plays from midfield, a record that only a few playing in his similar positions has ever achieved.
The midfielder in his words said "i would have stayed if Chelsea had offered me a new contract , there is no reason for me to leave, yes , i wanted to play a bit more regularly ,but i'm not stupid , if chelsea give me a new deal i would have been mad not to take it and wouldnt have gone to Manchester city on loan.
