Roberto Di Matteo: Schalke appoint former Chelsea boss as Keller Replacement


Chelsea Former player and Manager Roberto Di Matteo has been named the new manager of German
club Schalke 04.

Schalke are currently placed 11th in the league and have been in a very poor form this season having just won 2 games this season, have announced the firing of Keller and now appointed Di Matteo.

This is Di Matteo first appointment since he was sacked by chelsea in 2012 after guarding the club to their first Champions league glory and FA cup trophy, a job he took after Andre villas Boas was sacked by the club where he was the assistant.

Di Matteo has previously managed Mk Dons and West Brom and he was handed a permanent deal after leading Chelsea to Champions League title, but due to run of poor resulted was relieved of his duties.
