Former ADC To Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan Shot Dead By Fellow Police Officer In Bauchi

Former ADC to Delta State Governor, Superintendent Chris Eza was shot dead by a junior officer yesterday 26th February, in Bauchi State.

The superintendent family stated that the officer went out to get food in an eatery along Ahmedu Bello way at about 9pm where he saw some police patrol team, upon observation he noticed one of the officers was not properly dressed and he cautioned the officer who is a corporal, but the corporal got angry from the caution as he started grumbling for being cautioned.

The attitude of the junior officer provoked Chris and he told the corporal that if he does not take care he was going to disarm him. Instead of apologizing, The corporal cocked his gun and threatened to
shoot his superior if he comes any closer to him, Chris thinking it was a bluff moved towards the officer , who immediately open fire. Other officers at the scene rushed Chris to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi where he was declared dead upon arrival.

The corporal who shot Chris has been arrested and the police are investigating his true motives of killing the senior officer, Chris until his death,was a MOPOL 11 commander.
